Hey there,
Ever notice how uncertainty can make you freeze, even when you have enough information to start? This edition reframes uncertainty as a compass moment, not a stop sign, and offers a simple way forward through tiny experiments plus a day-ending 3-2-1 Landing and a single “Tomorrow starts with…” note.
Take a moment to see how a small step can earn the clarity you’ve been waiting for.
MINDSET
🧠 One Core Mindset Shift To Apply This Week

You only need about 20% clarity to take the next action. The rest is revealed once you start interacting with the work: drafting, testing, asking, shipping.
Play the “Tiny Experiment” Game
Instead of asking, “What is the best choice?” ask:
“What is the smallest experiment that answers my biggest question?”
Examples:
Unsure what to write? Draft the first paragraph and send it to one person for feedback.
Unsure which offer to lead with? Test two subject lines on a small batch.
Unsure about a decision? List the top 2 options and define one quick data point you can gather today.
Your One-Sentence Move
Write this and fill it in:
“If I had to learn one thing by Friday, it would be ________, and I can test it by ________.”
Reset Question:
What is one small action that would make me 10% more certain?
This week, do not wait for confidence. Treat your work like a lab. Run a tiny experiment and let reality do the coaching.
HABIT
The “3-2-1 Landing” Habit 🛬

One habit:
Before you end your workday, do a 3-2-1 Landing: 3 wins, 2 open loops, 1 first step for tomorrow.
Why it works:
Your brain keeps spinning at night because it hates unfinished stories. This habit mentally closes the tabs, gives you a clear sense of progress, and makes tomorrow easier because you already know what to do first.
How to start in 5 minutes:
Open a note called LANDING.
Write 3 wins from today, even small ones.
List 2 open loops you are carrying.
Pick 1 first step for tomorrow that takes under 5 minutes.
Bonus rule: If it is not written, it does not get to ride home in your head.
Fun twist:
Pretend you are an air traffic controller. Your job is to get every thought safely on the runway so your brain can stop circling.
Example:
3 wins: sent proposal, cleared 12 emails, booked one call
2 open loops: vendor reply, slide tweak
1 first step: open deck and fix the slide 2 headline
EXECUTION
The “Tomorrow Post-It”

Your brain keeps spinning because it is trying to protect future-you.
Before you log off, write one line on a sticky note:
“Tomorrow starts with ____.”
Put it on your laptop. Close the laptop.
Now your brain has proof you will not forget.
One more thing
Most people are not stuck because they lack talent; they are stuck because they are waiting for certainty that only action can produce. Using the 20% clarity rule and a quick end-of-day reset helps you move forward, close mental tabs, and protect your attention so tomorrow starts fresh.
When you treat work like a lab, reality becomes your coach, and momentum stops feeling like a mystery.
Until the next self-check-in,
